近日， National Skills Commission（简称NSC）根据澳洲劳动力市场的调查发布了2022年优先职业提名列表（The Skills Priority List，SPL）。此列表凸显了针对特定行业人才的迫切需要。
今年的列表显示，有286个职业出现短缺，而在2021年仅153个。从招聘广告数量来看，2022年8月，达到30.99万个，比2021年8月增长42%。由于近年受到新冠疫情以及全球经济影响，使得澳洲的许多职业面临的人才短缺问题，包括医疗卫生从业人员、教师、技术人员、工程人员等。
这份SPL报告主要分析全澳洲及各州、领地的短缺职业，以及未来的职业需求。这份报告及具有参考价值，想移民的同学可根据澳洲短缺职业来选择专业方向，顺利实现毕业后即移民和就业的计划。
2022年移除的专业
2022年优先职业提名列表中一共有17个职业被移民，其中最受留学生欢迎的职业会计、管理会计、财务会计、电气工程技术员、信息通信技术项目经理等热门职业都被移除。
2021＆ 2022紧缺职业类别
经过劳动力市场的调查，有127个职业皆为2021及2022年的紧缺职业，其中包括土木工程师、内外部审计师、结构工程师、石油工程师、采矿工程师、机械工程师、幼教老师、物理治疗师、护士、助产士、老年人及残疾人互护工、厨师等。
此外，从下方2021年和2022年数据对比可看出，需要技术的职位需求量大于白领阶层及管理职位，如Managers, Clerical & Administrative Workers,
Sales Workers，而普通工人职位(Labourers 26%)需求量小于机器操作类工人(Technicians & Trades Workers 47%)。
2022优先职业清单的新增职业
2022年新增了IT相关职业、工程相关职业包含 Chemical Engineer, Materials Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Environment Engineer，以及教师职业包含Primary School Teacher, Secondary School Teacher, Special Needs Teacher，IT职业ICT Business Analyst, Web Developer, Systems Analyst，另外还有各类护理类职业。
2022 TOP20最紧缺职业
最需要的人力的职业主要是医疗保健专业人员和教师，然而，这一份前20名职业的名单(基于当前的短缺和对未来就业增长的预测)也显示，信息技术和建筑行业也出现短缺。
以下是五大热门专业推荐的学校及课程，这些学校遍布在澳洲各州，而部分院校更是位于偏远地区，因此可额外获得偏远地区加分，有利于189独立技术移民。例如ACT州的澳洲国立大学、堪培拉大学，西澳州的科廷大学等。
